Wine - 12 bottles of 75 cl each (or equivalent volume). While prices are quoted per bottle for your convenience, sales are only by the unbroken case (see winelist for case size - usually 6 or 12 bottles per case). Occasionally we will offer certain wines in mixed cases. For smaller orders - please contact us by email or phone to discuss what is available.
Food - no minimum order size. However, if you order via the website, it will automatically charge GBP 15.00 for shipping & handling. If your purchase is small, any excess postage will be refunded when your order is shipped.

Prices-
All prices are quoted duty paid exclusive of VAT and delivery, which will be added at the prevailing rate. Prices are subject to market fluctuations, changes of rates of duty and exchange rate. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. The majority of the items are available in bond and prices for in bond sales can be quoted upon request.
PaymentPayment shall be made in full upon receipt of the order. Payment may be via credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Switch) BUT only via PayPal, by electronic/BACS transfer (preferred) or by cheque. Goods will not be made available until the Company has received cleared funds.
Delivery- Because we try to keep our prices as low as possible, we will have to charge for delivery at our cost. Approximate delivery cost to London and the Home Counties is £15 per delivery plus VAT. Deliveries outside that area will incur larger delivery costs which can be quoted upon request. Orders over £500 will be delivered free within London and the Home Counties while orders outside that area will receive a £15 discount.
Delivery can usually be effected within 5-7 working days. But delivery will not be made until cleared funds are received.
Claims- All goods must be examined at the time of delivery. Any loss or damage must be recorded on the delivery note. We (and the carriers) must be notified in writing or by telephone the same day. Claims will only be accepted if we are notified of loss or damage within 3 days and , in case of non-delivery, within 7 days of expected arrival. Damaged packages should be retained together with the contents for inspection by the authorities concerned.
Customers should inform us within 24 hours of uncorking if a wine is out of condition to enable us to confirm the complaint. Faulty bottles should be dated and the nature of the fault clearly written on the bottle. Under no circumstances will we accept returns UNLESS the wine is faulty.
Risk and Property - IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ –
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the Customer at the time of delivery or, if the Customer wrongfully fails to take delivery of the goods, the time when the Company has tendered delivery of the goods. Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in the goods or any other provision of these conditions, the title to the goods shall not pass to the Customer until the Company has received in cash or cleared funds payment in full of the price of the goods.
Until such time as the title to the goods passes to the Customer, the Customer shall hold the goods as the Company’s fiduciary agent and bailee and shall keep the goods separate from those of the Customer and third parties and properly stored, protected and insured and identified as the Company’s property.
